Hey! Check out my new system:
CPU: P4 3.0G 1MB L2 Cache
MBd: ASUS P4P800E-DLX (i856PE)
RAM: Cosar 1GB PC3200 (DDR 400)
AGP: PowerColor 9800 Pro 128MB AGP8X
SND: Creative Audigy2 ZS
HDD: Maxtor 80G 8MB Buffer ATA133 X2
HDD: Maxtor 160GB 8MB ATA133 X1
CDR: Lite-on 52x RW
DVD: Lite-on 8x +/- RW
PSU: Antec 400W
...
Approx Total: $1400
My system took me over six months to complete.
It took me so long is because I was waiting for the price of
PowerColor 9800 Pro to drop.
This PowerColor was priced close to $300, and I got it off internet few days ago for less than $200!!!
I can all of my games now! Sweeet!
Although the new speed king ATI X800 (>=$400) are just out,
I still believe that my PowerColor 9800 pro has the best performance/price ratio!
Happy Happy!

I believe the X800 Pros are in a good price point right now. Your system is nice for the time being of course. Just wait a year and that'll change
.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Nice system. But why, these days, does everyone get shitty, no-name optical drives like the lite-on? Those things break all the time. They're crap.
I've had good luck with TDK stuff. the 8x DVDRW drive is made w/the same hardware as the Plextor-branded DVDRW drive....
