Not so much a fan, but I listen to it a lot because of coworkers/family. I don't like most of the new stuff because it sounds so poppy. I do like the classics (Cash, Patsy) and some of the new bluegrass (Cherryholmes).
I am probably the opposite of many people out there. I know people who love the "good ole" country and not as much the country now that is more "crossover". I am the opposite. I love Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts. I prefer a more subtle country sound rather than the strong "twang" of the past.
I like alot of Derks Bently's stuff. And of course Reba, I'm from Oklahoma, what can I say. But I also like alot of the older stuff too. Garth Brooks is alright when I'm in a down mood, Friends in low places is a good one to vent to.
