The Messengers

I would suggest missing this movie. What a bunch of crap- no plot, crappy dialog and very little mystery. I am very glad we have a second run theater and I didn't pay full price to see it.

Asian-style horror remakes (although, if I remember correctly, The Messengers isn't a remake, but done in the style of them) are becoming a tired genre here - partially because they've lost novelty and partially because they only choose to remake (or make) the movies that are similar to ensure that they bring in the same crowd. It's become predictable now and, being outside American culture, doesn't scare us as much as a horror movie should.

I really liked that movie. I thought it would suck form the ads, but it was fantastic.
And, on a side note, the teenage girl made the movie a little better with her hottness. =3
