The Pentium 4 bus has been given an upgrade to 533mhz. New chips that have been released such as the 2.4ghz and the 2.53ghz can use this new bus speed.
Anyway, I've been running at 533mhz operation for some time now, yes it does offer improvement. It is no big this, the move to 533mhz as most people are already running it.
