Traffix Announces Traffix Diameter Routing Agent
LONDON, May 4, 2010-- Traffix Systems, the NGN and Diameter control plane expert, announced
today the official release of its newest control plane product - Traffix
Diameter Routing Agent.
The new product announced today, Traffix Diameter Routing Agent, presents
Traffix Systems' commitment to telecom operators, providing a full set of
control plane products to enable robust and cost effective implementation and
management of the NGN and LTE architecture.
Traffix Diameter Routing Agent is a manifestation of the Diameter Routing
Agent (DRA) defined by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). The new
product simplifies the implementation and management of telecom 3GPP LTE
network interfaces between the PCRF (Policy Charging and Rules Function) and
the PCEF (Policy and Charging Enforcement Function), as well as other network
entities.
Traffix Diameter Routing Agent Highlights
Traffix Diameter Routing Agent enables LTE and IMS control plane routing
while reducing implementation efforts and ad-hoc programming.
Traffix Diameter Routing Agent demonstrates proven interoperability with
commercial PCRFs, PCEFs and other Diameter network entities.
Traffix Diameter Routing Agent supports contextual Diameter routing with
an array of predefined routing policies. Routing rules are changed online and
are effective in real-time.
