In addition to a complete product portfolio of state-of-the-art audio and video products, multi-room music systems, custom home theater displays, telephones, mp3 players, and various accessories; the Bang & Olufsen Portland showroom will also showcase the new BeoVision 10 television. BeoVision 10 is the company's third video product to launch this fiscal year and presents a full-HD picture based on the new LED technology. It resembles a piece of artwork on the wall, but when brought to life reveals impressive image and sound performance from its modest size.
In addition to the stunning picture, the slim beauty delivers impressive sound with its custom-made bass port design. BeoVision 10 has an integrated stereo speaker placed below the screen and covered by a fabric front. It offers integrated surround sound and a peripheral unit controller, electronic curtains and an extensive connection panel allowing up to five extra speakers for a surround sound setup.
"We expect to recruit many new customers with BeoVision 10," says Zean Nielsen, President of Bang & Olufsen America, Inc. "This product is visually stunning, versatile, and has a very attractive price point that can fit into a variety of home environments."
"I'm honored to showcase the new BeoVision 10 to the Portland market," says Lane. "This product will be perfect for our new project in revamping the Bang & Olufsen presence in Portland."
BeoVision 10 is available at all Bang & Olufsen showrooms in 40" and 46" screen sizes. MSRP will be determined on an a-la-carte basis, starting at $6248 for the 40" and $8550 for the 46". Price will vary as upgrades are added including mounting options, anti-reflective screen coating, and remote control.
Bang & Olufsen Portland also plans to introduce the new BeoVision 10 LCD in Bellevue, WA on May 5th, 2010. The store will participate with the Seattle-area Aston Martin dealer for an event launching the new Aston Martin Rapide. BeoVision 10 will be on display at the event and on-site demonstrations will be conducted. The event will be held at Bellevue Art Museum on Bellevue Way Northeast at 6:00 PM.
