Eurotech Introduce a New Intel(R) Atom(TM) Based Industrial Compact Enclosure (ICE)
CAMBRIDGE, England, March 30, 2010-- Eurotech have added the Intel Atom based Catalyst EC ICE to their already
comprehensive range of Industrial Compact Enclosures.
The Catalyst EC ICE is ideal for applications such as Remote Telematics,
Wireless Data Acquisition, Multimedia and Process Control. It provides all
the benefits of Intel's latest Atom LPIA architecture in a rugged enclosure
comprising of a processor module and carrier board. The rugged CE compliant
system offers a high performance, low power consumption fanless solution,
which is compatible with all major desktop and embedded operating systems.
The Catalyst EC ICE comes with a comprehensive range of onboard
peripherals, and offers expansion possibilities via a PCI Express Mini Card
socket. Local storage is provided by an internal solid-state, or mechanical
hard drive.
Availability - The Catalyst EC ICE is available now.
Eurotech offer a range of embedded platforms and devices
qualified for the Industrial, Transportation and Defence markets. These
products cover requirements ranging from embedded boards for integration into
users own devices, through to a range of standard enclosure systems qualified
for the intended application. Design services providing customised variants
of these products, or complete ground up product designs are also available.
