ShoutOUT Goes Cross Platform at Pepcom with iPhone and Android
Free complete speech-to-text application that lets users create, send and receive text messages with fluent natural speech
LAS VEGAS, March 23 -- MOBILEFOCUS -- Promptu Systems Corporation will debut tonight its new releases of ShoutOUT for iPhone and Android. ShoutOUT lets users create text messages in natural speech instead of typing.
With ShoutOUT, spoken text messages are transcribed in real-time and can then be reviewed and edited using SmartWord(TM), Promptu's intuitive disambiguation tool that lets users see and select from likely word alternatives before the message is sent.
Android
ShoutOUT for Android is the first release of ShoutOUT that is fully integrated with a phone's native text messaging client and includes voice addressing. For the moment, the application is free and Android phone owners will not need to pay for using voice dictation.
iPhone
The latest update to the original ShoutOUT speech-to-text messaging app gets its first public showing with helpful new features including shake-to-clear and a text-optimized user interface.
Promptu speech recognition applications are known in the industry for extremely high accuracy rates. To maximize ShoutOUT accuracy on iPhone and Android phones, a personalized acoustic model is assigned to every ShoutOUT user during the app's registration process.
