CBW Chooses OPTIMA to Rapidly Detect Network Problems and Ensure Optimum Performance

LAS VEGAS, March 23 -- CTIA - AIRCOM announced today that it has provided Cincinnati Bell Wireless with its AIRCOM OPTIMA performance management tool as CBW's tool of choice.  OPTIMA, which is part of AIRCOM's ENTERPRISE suite of network management tools, allows CBW to manage its multi-vendor core, data and voice networks, from a single interface.

OPTIMA is globally proven by many tier-one operators for managing and processing multiple data sources and layers into a single, independent interface; fast identification of issues in the network; and near real-time troubleshooting.  After a successful trial, CBW has now rolled out a full AIRCOM OPTIMA deployment.

Theodore Stoner, Cincinnati Bell Wireless network access planning director, said, "With OPTIMA, we can monitor and quickly adjust our network to changing conditions through one system.  By combining all critical data in one system, we can more efficiently manage and optimize our network.  We've also been able to reduce operating expenses by reducing the number of legacy monitoring systems our network needs and deactivating older, less efficient systems."

Darryl Stork, Director of Planning & OSS Solutions at AIRCOM, stated, "Cincinnati Bell has a long history of providing the best wireless network service to the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas, and our OPTIMA product will help it continue to provide high-quality service to its customers."
