<p>The RCS5516FW is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) firewall based on the Cisco<sup>®</sup> 5516 Adaptive Security Appliance, and encased in a military grade rugged chassis. The firewall provides 8 integrated ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T(x) copper ports, supports Cisco FirePOWER services, and offers 1.8 Gbps maximum throughput. The RCS5516FW provides up to 250,000 concurrent sessions and handles up to 20,000 new connections per second.</p>
<p>The RCS5516FW features an <a href="https://www.crystalrugged.com/products/services/rugged-reliable/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">all-aluminum chassis</a> and is available in either a standard 19" rack mount or <a href="https://www.crystalrugged.com/products/services/transit-cases/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">transit case</a> EIA form factor. The 1U firewall can be mounted using Delrin glides, or as a fixed mount (front and rear).
