There will be some price cuts, hefty ones for the P3 chipsets.
To speed the platform transition from the older Pentium III to the Socket 478-based Celeron, Intel has decided to not only slash the quoted prices of its 815 and 810 series chipsets on June 30, but also lower the prices of its 845 line again on June 30 and later on September 29.
